Warehouse Clerk
- Receiving of parts and supplies
- Organize parts and supplies for projects in logical order
- Follow procedures for storeroom security and inventory maintenance
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that parts and supplies are readily available for use on the scheduled projects
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with Purchasing or Project Managers as needed on reorders or related issues
Experience/Education/Skills:
- Must have previous experience with computerized inventory systems
- Previous daily operation of a parts crib a definite plus
- Previous experience in the marine industry a definite plus
- Previous daily forklift experience a plus
- Must be flexible and adaptable especially in regard to shifting project schedules
- Must possess excellent communication skills and be a team player
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able and willing to regularly lift up to 30lbs and occasionally lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able and willing to work in a non-climate controlled work environment
- Must be able and willing to wear protective clothing as required (eyeglasses, gloves, clothing, respirators, dust mask)
- Must be able and willing to use any hand tools necessary to perform job assignments
Work Schedule:
- While we reserve the right to adjust schedules to suit legitimate business needs, the bulk of our team members work 7am to 3:30pm
Consistent, on time attendance is expected
