Marine Quality Assurance Tech (Experienced)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be the final set of eyes verifying layout of structures in parts
  • Assist in overseeing infusion projects monitoring the entire process and the quality of work throughout
  • Be the final set of eyes on completed plugs, molds, and other parts verifying that quality meets or exceeds customer expectations
  • Monitor ISO compliance by:
    • Assuring that work packages contain all necessary information
    • Checklists are being completed accurately and timely
    • Part are moving forward after prerequisite checks are complete
  • Perform periodic calibration and verification of equipment
  • Suggest process improvements which eliminate any potential quality issues


  • 5+ years hands on experience in composites
    • Fiberglass lamination
    • Infusion
    • Fiberglass finishing
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or higher
  • Read and interpret 2D tolerances and drawings
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Direct, professional communication style.  Able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional time management skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able and willing to occasionally lift up to 30lbs
  • Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders
  • Must be able and willing to work in a non-climate controlled work environment
  • Must be able and willing to wear protective clothing as required (eyeglasses, gloves, clothing, respirators, dust mask)
  • Must be able and willing to use any hand tools necessary to perform job assignments

Work Schedule:

  • While we reserve the right to adjust schedules to suit legitimate business needs, the bulk of our team members work 7am to 3:30pm

Consistent, on time attendance is expected
