Marine Quality Assurance Tech (Experienced)

Primary Responsibilities:
- Be the final set of eyes verifying layout of structures in parts
- Assist in overseeing infusion projects monitoring the entire process and the quality of work throughout
- Be the final set of eyes on completed plugs, molds, and other parts verifying that quality meets or exceeds customer expectations
- Monitor ISO compliance by:
- Assuring that work packages contain all necessary information
- Checklists are being completed accurately and timely
- Part are moving forward after prerequisite checks are complete
- Perform periodic calibration and verification of equipment
- Suggest process improvements which eliminate any potential quality issues
Experience/Education/Skills:
- 5+ years hands on experience in composites
- Fiberglass lamination
- Infusion
- Fiberglass finishing
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or higher
- Read and interpret 2D tolerances and drawings
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Direct, professional communication style. Able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional time management skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able and willing to occasionally lift up to 30lbs
- Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders
- Must be able and willing to work in a non-climate controlled work environment
- Must be able and willing to wear protective clothing as required (eyeglasses, gloves, clothing, respirators, dust mask)
- Must be able and willing to use any hand tools necessary to perform job assignments
Work Schedule:
- While we reserve the right to adjust schedules to suit legitimate business needs, the bulk of our team members work 7am to 3:30pm
